Variety of Teas
Japanese Tea originated in China and then moved to Japan. Japanese tea is unlike any other in the world. Japan imports more tea than they can produce and as such most of the really great teas are very difficult to get out of Japan. Because of our family history we are able to bring many unusual teas out of Japan to the Western world and beyond. Please Enjoy!

Taiwanese Taiwanese Teas
Exclusive Blends All of our flavored teas come from Germany. They are truly the best in the world in terms of either capturing flavors or recreating them and enhancing tea leaf with the exact flavor we describe. In most cases our flavored teas have bits of the fruit/flower/herb that has flavored it.
Organic Our organics continue to grow as fast as Asia moves from non-certified to certified. Many varieties are now available in both certified and non-certified. We enjoy the differences within the same tea. Becoming certified has many steps and costs and some tea quite frankly never makes that "cut" yet several do. We try to source "clean" tea in all cases and certified when possible.
White Funding in Fujian Province of China is where White tea originated. It is flashed with heat to deactivate the oxidation process and then simply dried resulting in high concentrations of catechins. Light flavors and aromas often with "downy" buds resulting in a sparkle in your cup.
Green "Lucha" in Chinese or translated "true tea" meaning most like the plant. There are 6 Provinces in China and all of Japan who gives us the original green tea on the planet. Green tea has undergone minimal oxidation during processing.
Oolong Wu-long in Asia comes from the Wuyi Mountains in Fujian China and the Central Mountains of Taiwan. This family of tea is huge, you will find "greener" and fully roasted, slightly twisted and tightly rolled. You could spend a lifetime tasting only Oolongs and still not experience them all.
Black "Red" tea in Asia "black" in the Western world are teas that have been fully fermented. In Asia a black tea is really a post fermented tea such as Pu-erh but in the Western World red tea has come to be the name given to the African rooibos. Confusing? Maybe but, which ever you call it, black/red teas are the highest in caffeine and have a stronger flavor, color and aroma and most likely to have something added to it i.e. cream or sugar.
Pu-erh From and area called "Six Mountains" in the Yunnan province of China comes this most unusual tea. Rich, smooth and sometimes called "earthy" available in an infinite variety of shapes, styles and flavors it is a tea often collected as it continues to improve over time.
Scented All of our scented teas have been created by adding the flowers/herbs to the leaf and then in many cases removing OR by plants growing WITH the tea plants resulting in a cross over that gives the scent and or flavor to the tea from the plant level.
Blooming All hand-tied in Asia. Starting with premium tea and in many cases adding beautiful flowers to create a "blossom" that will bloom before your eyes. We recommend a tempered stem glass however a glass teapot is also very nice.
Herbal All TEA comes from one plant, the camellia sinensis however many other plants (herbs) are often used to create a tisane sometimes called "tea". Ours are all from Asia and normally have medicinal benefits beyond the flavor and aroma of the cup. Explore and see for yourself how they may affect your body, mind and spirit.
